I worked with Danny at West Texas Rehabilitation Center in the summers. We worked in the heated swimming pool where some patients needed assistance with water exercises as part of their physical therapy.  Danny was always a very polite, sincere person, and was always friendly and helpful to others. I never heard him say a negative word about anybody or anything. You just couldn't ask for a nicer guy. Danny's dad, Milton, worked there in Physical Therapy and was always telling us war stories from his adventures in the Pacific campaign during World War II.

Danny was in A Company, Army Depot at Long My, 1st Logistical Command. He served as a helicopter mechanic, keeping those choppers in the air.  He was killed in a Jeep accident in Binh Dinh.
