Janet Young Barksdale

I've always enjoyed every age and stage of life. The best part of this stage is having grandchildren. They are such a delight and I'm lucky that mine live close to us. Mike and I and get to see them often.

I've had many children in the form of students, too, as I've taught English, Speech, and Theatre at the junior high level. My favorite part has been producing plays with my students.

Mike is retired after many years of working for Lockheed Martin, which does contract work for NASA. I'm looking forward to also retiring in two years. I think that will be a great new stage to enter.
