Maureen Tally (Force)

I heard about Kaye from her son on Friday evening. Kaye was a good friend of mine since 7th grade at Jefferson and we had lots of fun, tears, and all around good times. Her son, Jefferey, an Abilene police officer and my daughter, Heather, are just a year apart in age and played together as children. They also had a few dates when they were in high school and I once thought how funny it would be if our children were to marry. I was also a bridesmaid at Kaye's first wedding to Johnny Hogue.
I didn't know how ill Kaye was and I did not contact her prior to the reunion, but I was told she was too ill to attend. I understand she didn't want anyone to know she had cancer. So sad, so young, and I will miss her greatly. This was such a shock.
