I appreciate Toni and Ted and whoever else putting this together, and will complete this later when I have time. Gone are the days of Christmas break, replaced by temporary injunctions and emergency real estate or corporate transactions before the year-end !!
I guess my hobbies have changed somewhat from the days of '69, as I now enjoy basketball, tennis, sailing, travel, fine dining, and occasionally playing my guitar, my banjo or singing - see below. My fav travel place so far was a trip to Machu Picchu, etc. in May 07..It's an amazing world out there !!! Sherry and I have a couple of musical groups -The Boomers and the Better Half. We also have performed in the last two Spectacular Senior Follies - at the Eisemann Center in Richardson (about 1200 seats) - we sing and (sort of dance) and it's amazing to get to perform on a big stage !! Wish I had tried it in HS. Update - Moved to Lubbock in 2021. Closer to grandbabies (and babies). Trying to retire since, failing. Sherry and I like to perform to recorded music (my friend Arthur itis discourages much guitar play anymore) and do so several times a month just for fun. Lt. Gov. for a division of Kiwanis, on the board at the local Bar Assn, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets of west Texas !!

I'll always wish I had played basketball in school !! I started playing pick up games in law school, and love it !!! I've played a lot of city leagues and such, and even have a few Hoop it Up trophies, and still find a game when I can. My favorite funny from school is perhaps when we had substitute study hall teacher who was allowing Paul McCarteny, Ringo Starr and others to leave for the library, until this cute little red-headed girl listed "Clem Kadiddlehopper", amazingly, someone known to the (thought by us to be) clueless old (probably 30?) substitute !!! One of many trips to the principal's office !!!
Second is perhaps when Ross Todd and I coerced the young drummers in the band into leading a small insurrection that turned into the "Mass Hysteria !!!" I'll never forget Frau Dick allowing me to teach subjunctive mood in our German class and even make the exam for the chapter. It was a penalty for smarting off, but it now gives me great pride to have undertaken and completed that task. Ah, to have had better sense in those days, and these !!!
